Our history
From IT to public works, an engineer's trajectory
KHAYROUAL was born in 2012 from engineering know-how. The company first installed IT networks before building schools, roads and power networks. These are the stages of that journey.
2012 – 2016
The beginnings
Founded in Yaoundé in 2012, KHAYROUAL first offered IT solutions: networks, security, hardware, development. In 2016 it became KHAYROUAL GROUP SARL, with the signature "Your technology partner". That same year it won its first construction contract: Melan Ndong public school, in the Dja-et-Lobo.
2016 – 2019
Public buildings
Two blocks of three classrooms and an administrative block were delivered at Melan Ndong: provisional acceptance in September 2018, final acceptance in October 2019. The company learnt the requirements of public procurement: execution files, supervision, acceptance committees.
2019 – 2022
Roads, bridges and power networks
The company opened three new areas. In electrification, the Ayos–Kobdombo network was accepted in July 2021 and officially commissioned in December 2021; Akonolinga–Minlo was accepted in November 2022. On the Song Mayo–Ngompem road, in the Sanaga-Maritime, the company strengthened a 12 m bridge and laid culverts and ditches; the road was accepted in June 2021. The Divisional Delegations of Communication in Mbalmayo and Abong-Mbang were delivered in 2020 and 2021.
2023 – 2025
A public limited company focused on construction
In 2023 KHAYROUAL GROUP became a public limited company and adopted its current identity: the KRG acronym and the signature The Engineer's Home. On the Endama–Elig Bitstetsa road, in the Lékié, the company and its consortium partner had the foundations of the Medjoa and Lékié crossings studied by an accredited laboratory, then delivered the road, accepted in June 2025. In September 2025, KRG was classified category B for the Roads sub-sector.
Today
Works in progress
Urban road works in Yaoundé, roads in the Méfou-et-Afamba and a power network extension between Soa and Essé are in progress. The company continues to structure itself within the IZNA Holding group.
