Project narrative

The road from Endama to Elig Bitstetsa crosses two watercourses: the Medjoa, shortly after the start, and the Lékié, further along the alignment. Before designing the structures, the KHAYROUAL GROUP SARL / ETS EBESCA consortium had the ground at both crossings investigated by an accredited geotechnical laboratory in May 2023. The following month, a setting-out report fixed the alignment with the supervising engineer. The execution drawings provided for steel-girder bridges carrying a reinforced-concrete deck, together with box culverts and pipe culverts along the road. In spring 2025, the contracting authority's committee carried out pre-acceptance, then confirmed that reservations had been cleared. On 5 June 2025 it pronounced provisional acceptance: the double surface-dressed road entered its guarantee period.
