Project narrative

The road to the Ngompem Catholic mission crosses several streams. On 24 March 2021, the supervising engineer and the contractor approved the structures to be built: concrete pipe culverts with their headwalls and sumps, concrete-lined ditches, and the strengthening of a 12 m bridge with an additional steel girder and rework of its deck and fittings. In April, the teams laid culverts, formed a deck and carried out field missions in Ngompem. On 22 June 2021, the acceptance committee chaired by MINEPAT pronounced provisional acceptance of phase I. The remaining works were assigned to a supplementary contract, the second phase of the same road.
